COVID-19 Update

Please see the latest update from Browning Masonic Community (BMC):

“Hi, this is Browning Masonic Community calling. The purpose of this call is to keep you updated on what we are proactively doing at our campus to keep you, your family members and our staff safe as the State of Ohio starts to reopen businesses. I’m sure you have seen the recent news regarding Governor Mike DeWine’s Responsible Restart Ohio plan, where businesses will start to reopen in the month of May.

The safety and well-being of our community members, family members, and staff has been our number one priority throughout this COVID-19 Pandemic. As such, we will continue to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) guidelines that have been put in place for senior living communities like ours. I’m calling to let you know that we will continue to have the visitor restriction policy and procedures in place until further instructions are given by the CDC and ODH. This is in compliance with state and regulatory agencies. The visitor restriction policy limits visitations to end of life only situations.

Mother’s Day is coming up this weekend and we understand how important this holiday is to you and your loved ones. This is a difficult time for all of us. In an effort to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19 and in compliance with the CDC and ODH, visits can be made from one side of the glass to another in the area of Sarah’s Kitchen or the connector at Pathways. Congregating of community members and family members outside of the front entrance or back patio is not permitted. We have issued a number of tablets to community members and would be happy to assist in arranging a FaceTime meeting involving your loved one at anytime.

The safety, care, and well-being of you, your family members, and our staff is of utmost importance to us. We appreciate your patience at this time. Should you have any questions, I invite you to call our main campus number at 419-878-4055 or visit our website at www.ohiomasonichome.org. We know how hard this is and your patience now will allow us to be together soon.”
