BMC Fall Fest, a Huge Success!

It was a beautiful, cool Saturday in October for the Browning Masonic Community (BMC) Fall Fest. Nearly 200 community members, their families and Waterville residents enjoyed the day. There was something for everyone to do. For those that enjoy painting, there was both pumpkin and face painting. The children enjoyed Trick or Treating in front of the building and through the villas. You could find ghosts, princesses and some scary creatures.

Have you ever seen a pie eating contest?  Those attending the Fall Fest got to watch 12 people participate in a pie eating contest.  The winner dug into the pie with both hands and ate nearly the entire pie within three minutes! A noisy crowd cheered him on.

If pie eating wasn’t for you, there was cider and donuts as well as s’mores.  Thanks to Johnson’s Orchard for the donuts and cider.  There were also goodie bags to take home with you.  While enjoying the good food, people played corn hole and some tried their hand at bowling.

Did you meet Charlie and Chase while you were there? These horses pulled the wagon letting everyone enjoy a hayride. The wagon circled the building giving rides throughout the afternoon.

As the Fall Fest came to a close, families were all smiles and extending their thanks for a wonderful afternoon.  BMC would like to extend their thanks to Med 1, Ayden Healthcare and Oasis Senior Living for their participation as sponsors of the event.
