There was an air of excitement as the Lower London Street Band returned to Springfield Masonic Community. (SMC)  They performed traditional Dixieland music, which they are well known for. They have been playing for audiences for 45 years. Over 50 community members enjoyed the band as well as the second week of Friday Happy Hour.

If you looked under the tables, you could see all the feet tapping to the beat of the music.  One couple enjoyed dancing while others enjoyed watching. One song, “You Are My Sunshine” turned the event into a sing along.

Tony Perone shared, “It’s great. Having them back here is great…I can’t pick a favorite song.”
