How long have you worked at Browning Masonic Community?
I have worked at BMC for 9 months. Community members tell her that she is thought of as the “face and voice of BMC.” Mary knows the importance of education. She attends Owens Community College and is working on her associate degree in applied science in Business.
What makes Browning Masonic Community different than other senior living communities?
BMC is a wonderful community. This is not just a place to work. Every day I drive 45 minutes each way to come to work. I wouldn’t do that if this was just a job. I enjoy my co-workers and the community members.
What do your daily responsibilities include?
I have a wide variety of responsibilities from answering the phones to greeting everyone that comes through our front door. I answer questions and also help visitors with directions.
It’s important to make our families and guests know they are welcome and appreciated when they walk through the front door of Browning Masonic Community. I do my best to make sure that happens every day.
What are some of your favorite benefits Browning Masonic Community offers?
My favorite benefits are personal. There is a family atmosphere here at Browning Masonic Community. Family is very important to me. I know I am part of a family when I come to work. It is a family affair for more than just me. My daughter, Sarah also works here. She’s in the dietary department.
What would you tell a prospective employee about Browning Masonic Community?
BMC is a great place to work! We have a friendly and caring staff. We go out of our way for our community members. Get to know the people, both staff and community members and I guarantee you will enjoy working at BMC.

I love getting to know all of the community members. I love hearing their stories. I enjoy meeting their families as they come to visit their loved ones. I want to make sure that everyone knows they are welcome and feel like they are at home. “We are family!”
