As we move forward in managing the pandemic, The Ohio Masonic Home continues to enact its “Pandemic Plan” which has been in place since March, 2020. The plan addresses all required state and federal guidelines and recommendations. Screening of staff, community members, and visitors still continues at regular intervals on all campuses along with masking and social distancing.

Our campuses have implemented protocols for managing all care levels of community members experiencing COVID. The Ohio Masonic Home will continue to be diligent with infection control measures and thorough contact tracing for all COVID exposures and positive cases.

Education is provided to all staff regarding COVID when they are hired and annually. As the guidelines are updated or changed, further education is provided. Specialized training is provided for staff caring for community members with dementia. Social isolation training is also provided.

Vaccination clinics were offered to all staff and community members on all of our campuses. FDA authorized Pfizer COVID vaccine has been administered.

We believe that communication, to include IPads and K4 Connect, continues to be paramount in maintaining the health of our community members, their families, and staff on COVID changes.
