Programs We Offer
The Ohio Masonic Communities Resource Center is proud to offer several programs designed to support Masons and their families in times of need. Our Offsite Assistance Program provides financial help to Masons living at home, while the Emergency Assistance Program offers aid for aging, health, or safety-related needs. Through our Hope for the Holidays program, we bring comfort and connection to individuals and families during the holiday season. Whatever the need, we are here to help.
Offsite Assistance Program
Financial assistance is available to Masons who are currently living at home. If you or someone you know requires financial assistance, please download the application and follow the instructions.
Emergency Assistance Program
The Resource Center also offers financial assistance through its Emergency Assistance Program for Ohio Masons in good standing for at least 12 months, their wife, widow, or orphan, and Ohio Eastern Star members facing aging, health, or safety-related needs. Rooted in the organization’s commitment to compassion and respect, the program aims to support as many worthy and distressed members as possible with available resources.
Eligible expenses include utility bills, minor home repairs, accessibility modifications, small equipment repairs, durable medical equipment (such as walkers, wheelchairs, grab bars, and portable ramps), medical supplies, food, clothing, and transportation. It’s important to note that the program does not cover direct medical costs such as examinations, procedures, prescriptions, hospital stays, or credit card debt.
Hope For the Holidays
The holiday season can be filled with joy and connection — but for some, it can also bring feelings of loneliness and need. Through our Hope for the Holidays program, we provide outreach designed to bring comfort, connection, and support to individuals and families across our communities.
We offer simple yet meaningful support, including phone calls, care packages, and assistance with holiday meals for those facing isolation or financial challenges. We also extend support to families and children in need during the holiday season. Our goal is to ensure no one feels forgotten during this time of year.
Sometimes, a small gesture can make a lasting impact — reminding someone that they are seen, cared for, and not alone.
