FAQs about Independent Living
Can I bring my pets?
Absolutely! We know furry friends are part of the family, and we love welcoming them into the community. Western Reserve Masonic Community even has a pet committee! If you have specific questions about our pet policy, we’re happy to answer them.
Are there entrance fees?
You may have seen that some communities charge large entrance fees up front. We want to keep things as simple, straightforward, and affordable as possible for you, so we never require entrance fees.
Do I have to sign a long-term lease or contract?
We know you’ll love living here, but we understand life happens and sometimes things change. We want you to have the freedom and flexibility to do what’s best for you and your family, so we just require a 30-day notice if you need to move.
What if I move into independent living now and need more help later?
This is why it’s beneficial to choose a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) like Western Reserve Masonic Community. As your needs change, we’ll be there to support you every step of the way so you can keep living your best life. Our independent living residents get priority access to our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods, as well as our healthcare center, which offers short-term rehab and long-term skilled nursing care.
Do I have to be Masonic?
No, Western Reserve Masonic Community is open to the public regardless of being Masonic or not. During the application process, we’ll ask about any Masonic affiliations, but we don’t use that information to decide if you’re eligible to live here.
