The Ohio Masonic Communities Foundation Golf Classic

On June 3, more than 130 golfers participated in the sixth annual Ohio Masonic Communities Foundation Golf Classic at Wedgewood Golf & Country Club in Powell, Ohio. Hosted by US Bank and the Foundation, the golf outing raised $120,000. This will enhance services to residents battling Alzheimer’s, dementia and other brain related diseases at our campuses.

There is no cure for Alzehimer’s and dementia. Individuals and caregivers desperately need support in managing the progression of this disease. Thus, golfers participated in a virtual reality demonstration. This showed what it is like to walk in the shoes of an individual with dementia. “The Ohio Masonic Home prides itself on high quality care at all levels,” said Scott Buchanan.
