Community Garden in Pathways Memory Care!

Community Garden in Pathways Memory Care!

Have you ever been to Wardell’s Green House? You can find all kinds of veggies and herbs to start your garden.  The community members in have started a community garden in Pathways Memory Care at Browning Masonic Community. Gardening has been shown to spark senses and can even help those with dementia recall distant memories and sensations.

Everything has been planted and now it’s time take care of the garden.  How often will we need to water the garden?  We’ll watch and see!  How long will it take before the veggies and herbs are ready to eat?  Jesse Shoemaker will let everyone know!
