Browning Masonic Community Provides Pies for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is thought of as a family time.  For many people Thanksgiving can also be a very challenging time. Maybe your family can’t travel from out of town or a loved one has passed away since the previous year. Thanksgiving stirs up all kinds of memories for so many people. Browning Masonic Community provided pies for Thanksgiving to provide a tasty treat to anyone simply for the asking.  Everyone loves pie, especially pumpkin or apple pie.

Nikki Fielder, Executive Director shared, “We took reservations for the pies.  We ordered 200 total pies, 100 pumpkin and 100 apple pies. We distributed 160 pies to those who came to the campus. Jen Rill and I decided to deliver the remainder of the pies to some of our neighbors in the Waterville area.  We shared these tasty pies with the Waterville Fire and Police Departments, Waterville Family Physicians Group, Key Bank and Daniel Robinson, OD. Seeing the smiles on their faces brightened our day.”

The true meaning of Thanksgiving was felt in just a few short hours through this simple act of kindness.
