Lunch and Learn at Springfield Masonic Community

Lunch and Learn at Springfield Masonic Community

Your heart health is absolutely essential to your overall health.  Embracing a lifestyle that is both healthy and enjoyable can prevent heart disease and greatly reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke. More than 60 people learned about heart health while enjoying a great lunch during the Lunch and Learn at Springfield Masonic Community (SMC).

A special thanks goes out to the Xenia Senior Center for loading up sixteen members in their senior center bus to join other guests from all across Greene and Clarke counties to learn from Dr. Whitt. Dr. Whitt provided some interesting information on cardiology as well as general medical topics.  He was very willing to answer any questions that were asked.

As the Lunch and Learn came to a close, guests had the opportunity to take seconds home with them for dinner.  Many of the guests have been enjoying the Lunch and Learn series for several months and they are also making new friends.  As the goodbyes were being said, so was “I’ll see you next month!”
