A Day in the Life at Western Reserve Masonic Community: Hawaii Edition

Some people have been fortunate enough to travel to Hawaii and some people dream of going, but may not be quite ready to go. We’re excited to show you a day in the life at Western Reserve Masonic Community and how be brought Hawaii to us. Since it was Hawaii Day, the Assisted Living Ladies Luau was the perfect way to try Hawaiian food. Twenty-five ladies enjoyed Hawaii without ever needing to leave home.
The dining room was festive with the beautiful decorations. Each lady was wearing Hawaiian leis. A lei is a common symbol of love, friendship, celebration, honor or greeting. Undoubtedly, our ladies looked beautiful in their leis.
It was a day to celebrate and fellowship with the women of WRMC. Particularly, Chef Jud prepared Hawaiian meat balls, glazed (ONO) carrots, Hawaiian sweet rolls and orange pineapple fluff salad. Furthermore, we enjoyed Hawaiian music during the luncheon. Afterwards, we enjoyed each others company and socializing. Who knows what country we will enjoy at the next luncheon?
