Compassionate Healthcare

Our Healthcare Center at Springfield Masonic Community offers both long-term skilled nursing care and short-term rehabilitation. You or your loved one can get the care you need, combined with the support of physical, occupational, and speech therapies. As a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), we offer the care you need — whether for days, weeks, or years — in a place that feels like home.

Long-Term Skilled Nursing

At Springfield Masonic Community, our Healthcare Center isn’t your typical nursing home or skilled nursing facility. It’s a space to offer long-term skilled nursing care in a neighborhood-like setting. Your loved one can get the round-the-clock care they need to thrive, with nursing staff available 24/7. Just as important, they also have access to therapies and are encouraged to participate in daily activities and events with other residents. A private suite and ensuite bathroom give your loved one the privacy they deserve and help make it feel more like home.

Short-Term Rehabilitation

When you or your loved one needs short-term rehabilitation, the Healthcare Center at Springfield Masonic Community is here for you. Most often following a hospital stay, short-term rehabilitation offers a higher level of nursing care for a short period of time.

In short-term rehab, you or your loved one may only call our Healthcare Center home for a few days or weeks. After a hospital stay, it gives you a chance to continue recovering and completing therapy before returning home. Short-term rehabilitation is likely beneficial for you or your loved one after a medical event such as a hip replacement, stroke, operation, or serious illness. Our goal is to support you with the resources and care you need so you can go home and get back to the things you love.

Are visitors allowed?

Absolutely! We encourage family and friends to visit with their loved ones as much as possible. There aren’t set visiting hours, so visitors can stop by whenever it’s most convenient for them. We recommend visitors be mindful of therapy schedules and ask that they not visit if they are ill.

What if someone’s needs change and they need more or less care?

Our person-centered approach meets each person wherever they’re at and recognizes that their needs will change over time.
