What makes our memory care special is Connecting Realities, our memory support programming. It’s research-based and relationship-focused, aiming to meet each resident where they’re at – in their reality. There are a few elements that make this innovative programming such a successful approach to offering support and connection for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Our Pathways Memory Support Neighborhood features several unique technologies, including robotic pets and interactive game tables. Each is designed to offer residents comfort, reduce their feelings of stress and anxiety, and foster engagement and connection. - Music therapy.
Music is a powerful tool, especially for those with memory or cognitive challenges. Both 1:1 and group sessions with a licensed music therapist offer memory care residents a creative outlet while encouraging connection and improving mood.

Frequently Asked Questions about Memory Support
Do you accept insurance?
Our memory care is Medicare and Medicaid certified. We also accept most major private and long-term care insurance. Our admissions team is available to answer any questions about billing.
Are visitors allowed?
Absolutely! We encourage family and friends to visit with their loved ones as much as possible. There aren’t set visiting hours, so visitors can stop by whenever it’s most convenient for them. We recommend visitors be mindful of therapy schedules and ask that they not visit if they are ill.
What if someone’s needs change and they need more or less care?
Our person-centered approach meets each person, wherever they’re at, and recognizes that their needs will change over time. As a Continuing Care Retirement Community, we offer independent living, assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term skilled nursing care in addition to our Pathways Memory Support Neighborhood. Every day, we strive to meet each person’s individual needs.
Do I have to be Masonic?
No, Springfield Masonic Community is open to the public regardless of being Masonic or not. During the application process, we’ll ask about any Masonic affiliations, but we don’t use that information to decide if you’re eligible to live here.
