Campus Updates at Western Reserve Masonic Community
Please read the following Campus Updates at Western Reserve Masonic Community. This morning we had an Assisted Living Caregiver test positive for COVID-19 on a rapid response test. We have collected a PCR test sample and are now awaiting those results. This staff member is asymptomatic, however they have worked in Traditional Assisted Living Building 2, 3, & 4 in the last 24 hours. Due to the potential of close contact we are placing Building 3 & 4 under quarantine effective immediately. As you are aware Building 2 was previously placed under quarantine and at this time it will remain in place.
Life Enrichment will be developing a schedule to allow the residents on each floor to be able to be in the commons areas and hallways in a socially distanced manner. Following the schedule residents will be able to move about their floor only. Masks are required in hallways and common areas at all times. It is important that residents remain at a minimum 6 feet apart at all times.
Our staff in the care areas will continue to wear the appropriate PPE including but not limited to N95 masks, face coverings, and gowns as outlined in our pandemic plan. We will continue to follow our protocols and update our community and family members whenever possible.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
Sincerely,
Jason French – President
