For nearly 150 years, we have been committed to helping people and dedicated to providing exceptional care to our communities. Beyond our senior living communities, we provide people with community resources through The Ohio Masonic Communities Resource Center (OMCRC).
Through OMCRC, we help connect community members, Masons, Eastern Stars, and their families to find solutions for financial, social, and clinical needs. Our comprehensive services and support include:
- Advocacy
- Social and emotional assistance
- Education
- Financial aid
- Service referrals
- Connections tailored for each unique situation
Whether someone needs help in their home, at one of our campuses, or elsewhere, our team focuses on helping find resources in the best possible location.

How can I become a volunteer with OMCRC?
In addition to our outreach coordinators, we have over 550 volunteers across the state of Ohio! Our volunteers are an integral part of OMCRC and help us provide for local communities statewide. Volunteers have opportunities to help in many ways, including making referrals, checking in with older members through calls or visits, providing transportation to appointments, and helping with tasks like yard work, home repairs, or meal delivery.
For more information on how to volunteer, contact us at (877) 881-1623 or go to omcresourcecenter.org to fill out an application. Once we receive your application, we set up volunteer orientation and training.
Are OMCRC’s programs only for a certain age or demographic?
We welcome people of all ages and from all walks a life! Furthermore, a special program highlight is our Masonic Youth Outreach Program (MYOP). Through MYOP, we work with children in our local communities and the children and grandchildren of Masons. MYOP connects parents, grandparents, and caregivers with financial, educational, and social resources for their families. These resources are designed to put principles in place to set up the younger generations in our communities with successful futures.
Furthermore, MYOP embraces the importance of intergenerational activities and enhancing the quality of care through intergenerational day camps offered on our campuses during the holidays and summer breaks. Intergenerational day camps allow the younger generations to build relationships with seniors at our campuses, teaching valuable skills and unforgettable experiences. We also offer a holiday outreach program which helps with senior adults and families with children. For example, we provide care packages, meals, and phone calls to senior adults around the holidays.
Do I have to be Mason-affiliated to receive support from OMCRC?
Our resource center offers support and resources to all community members throughout Ohio. Our coordinators help with setting up well checks, making referrals, coordinating services, and offering support. In addition, we assess each client’s individual situation and strive to meet them where they are, serving our communities as a trusted partner to help our clients thrive. However, to receive financial assistance through OMCRC, you do have to be a Mason in good standing.
